The Informational and Referral Helpline is the gateway to all of Women's Resource Center's programs and services. In addition to information about our programs, you can call for access to help in your area for a wide range of issues, including legal issues, employment, mental health, parenting, relationship issues, health care, addiction, reproductive health, financial assistance, housing, and personal development.

LIHEAP - Administration for Children and Families - U.S. Department
Federal Home Page for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program ( LIHEAP) administered by the U.S. Office of Community Services. LIHEAP helps income-eligible families pay their winter heating bills and can help restore service if service is off. LIHEAP is a grant. You do not have to repay it. The grant amount is determined by household size and income; the minimum grant is $100, the maximum grant is $1,000.

At Modest Needs, compassionate persons whose lives have been touched by kindness pass that kindness on by pooling just a bit of what they can afford to share and using those funds to keep struggling families from entering the cycle of poverty.
Nothing is asked in return. Modest Needs assists working families, many earning too much to qualify for government assistance, but not enough to shield them from financial struggles. The goal is to keep people from slipping into poverty. The maximum grant is $1000.

Women Employment Resource






CWEE’s
CWEE’s job-readiness programs offer well-rounded, individualized services to provide the assistance and support necessary for job candidates in the Denver Metro area to become self-sufficient.
*Preparing for employment
During this portion of the program each participant is assigned a case manager who tailors training to that participant’s needs, rather than operating a one-size-fits-all program.
* Finding employment
CWEE's Employment Services Department helps participants acquire the skills and competencies needed to be successful in the workplace.
* Keeping employment
Once employed, participants receive on-going support for up to two years after graduating from CWEE.
*Boutique
CWEE's on-site clothing boutique provides participants with business casual and business professional clothing and accessories.
*Participant information
Participants referred through Denver, Arapahoe, and Adams counties, must be receiving TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) to be eligible for services.
